Seen from above, the pool at Nolo Hub is shaped like a phallus — an ‘eggplant’, if you prefer — with NOLO HUB PAI in tiles along its length. Possibly the only eggplant-shaped hostel pool in the world. You don’t have to be staying to swim in it: buy a drink at the bar and you’re welcome.

The shape
From the loungers, it’s a pool: blue water, NOLO HUB PAI in the tiles, and the garden with its thatched shelters all around. From the air, the shape is unmistakable, and the footage at the top of this page is the easiest way to see it.
Coming for a swim
You don’t need a bed here to use the pool. Buy a drink at the bar and you’re welcome to swim, then stay for the loungers and the shade of the garden.
It’s a 10–15 minute walk from Walking Street, the same walk as to the night market.
